Light in Astronomy 2017

Light in Astronomy, organized by INAF in collaboration with the Italian Astronomical Society-SAIt, will be a week (13-19 November) dedicated to satisfying curiosity about the Universe thanks to the opening in Italy of INAF premises, including the astronomical observatories.

From 13 to 19 November 2017, the premises of the Italian Institute of Astrophysics-INAF all over Italy will host the third edition of Light in Astronomy, the event that gives the general public, teachers, students and families the opportunity to know the protagonists of science observing the Universe better.

Light in Astronomy 2017, organized by INAF in collaboration with the Italian Astronomical Society-SAIt, will be a week dedicated to satisfying curiosity about the Universe thanks to the opening in Italy of INAF premises, including the astronomical observatories.

Just like in previous editions of Light in Astronomy, also this year the community of INAF researchers will talk about science that involves them every day in their labs. Protagonists of this week dedicated to the general public will be the narration of how science works, with merits and defects, the dialogue with students and the pleasure to learn how to play astronomy with children, with passion and scientific rigor.
